Fascia is the connective tissue surrounding muscles, tendons, and ligaments. Releasing it helps improve flexibility, reduce tension, and support natural movement.

An initial course of 4–6 sessions is recommended to feel the full benefits. One session helps, but consistent care gives the best results.

Wear comfortable pants. A natural oil is used during the session, and you will be draped appropriately for privacy.

Yes,  most clients relax deeply while I guide all the stretches and massage.

The pressure is tailored to your comfort. It is firm enough to release tension but always gentle and safe.

The focus is on flow and breath, but you can ask questions or communicate at any time.

Sessions are typically 90 minutes, allowing time for full-body work and deep release.

TYM® supports general wellbeing, posture, flexibility, and tension release. For injuries or medical conditions, consult your doctor first.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Massage treatment is non invasive, relaxing and natural.

It is therefore considered a safe trement for most people.

However there are 3 types of contraindiactions:

 

LOCAL CONTRAINDICATION

Where the affected area should be avoided the during the massage

  • Varicose Viens
  • Undiagnosed lumps or bumps
  • Pregnancy
  • Cuts & Abrasions
  • Sunburn
  • Inflammation including arthritis

 

MEDICAL CONTRAINDICATION

Where the client should get permission from their doctor to receive massage

  • Cardiovascular conditions
  • Any condition already being treated by a doctor
  • Oedema
  • Psorasis or Eczema
  • High or low blood pressure
  • Osteoporosis
  • Cancer
  • Nervous or Psychotic conditions including epilepsy
  • Bells Palsy, trapped or pinched nerves

 

TOTAL CONTRAINDICATION

Where massage is not appropriate at that time

  • Fever including Flu
  • Contagious diseases including cold or flu (no matter how mild it may seem)
  • Under the influence of drugs or alcohol ( including prescription pain medication)
  • Recent operations
  • Acute injuries
  • Skin diseases
  • Neuritis
